Looking for a fun filled night that’s a little different from the regular old bar scene? Try a Dinner with Elvis, starring award winning Elvis Tribute Artist Adam T. Elvis, who has been sweeping through towns and cities from Saskatchewan to North Western Ontario for the past 4 years. Thousands of people have taken in this spectacular dinner and show. Set up like a typical dinner theater show you will get a three set concert instead of the usual play that is put on. In our first, set which follows the Soup and Salad, Adam T. Elvis will put on an extremely high energy 1950’s concert taking you from Elvis’ early recording from Sun Records, to his big hits like Heartbreak Hotel and Don’t Be Cruel, to the TV appearances of STAGE SHOW, MILTON BERLE, STEVE ALLEN and of course…ED SULLIVAN. Plus songs from Elvis’ first four movies and the unforgettable songs from 1958 right before Elvis was inducted to the US Army.
Then comes supper which has been anything from Prime Rib, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, to Chicken Cordon Bleu, with potatoes (many different styles), perogies, cabbage rolls, vegetables and dinner roll. These are ideas of past shows we have done.
After dinner, Adam T and the Band take to the stage for the 1960’s set. This can include a couple of different shows. There is the Blue Hawaii Tribute and The Movie Tribute where Adam sings songs from Blue Hawaii and from other movies that Elvis did in the 60’s, The Christmas Show which is usually done from Oct. to Dec. which included a variety of Elvis’ Christmas and gospel songs plus a few other rockers from the 60’s. And then there is the most requested 1968 Comeback Special Show, where Adam (clad in tight black leather) and the band perform the songs from the hit 1968 Comeback Special and rocks the crowd with more of their favorite Elvis songs.
Then comes dessert, which has been in the past a variety of pie, cake, cream puffs, and ice cream. After dessert, Adam and the band put on a typical LAS VEGAS style concert of the 70’s. In one of many different colored jumpsuits including the famed “American Eagle” Adam belts out hit after hit like: Burning Love, Suspicious Minds, Can’t Help Falling in Love, How Great Thou Art and many more covering Elvis’ concerts from 1969 until his untimely death in 1977. Fans of Elvis young and old have been rockin’ the night away with Adam T. Elvis and The Good Rockin Tonite Band for many years.
